| Peter Crossgrove, M.B.A. Peter Crossgrove was appointed to the Board of Directors of Pelangio Mines in December 2007 and became a director Pelangio Exploration in September 2008. Mr. Crossgrove is a member of the Order of Canada and the Order of Ontario and the former Chairman of Masonite International Inc., a door manufacturing company. Prior to January 1993, he was Vice Chairman and Acting Chief Executive Officer of Placer Dome Inc. Mr. Crossgrove sits on boards of several public companies (including Barrick Gold, Lake Shore Gold, Detour Gold (vice-chairman), Excellon Resources, Lateegra Gold, Dundee REIT and Quadra Logic Technologies) and non-profit organizations. He is also President and Chief Executive Officer of Excellon Resources. His charitable work includes serving as Chairman of Cancer CARE Ontario, Treasurer of CARE International (based in Brussels) and Chairman of the Canadian Association of Provincial Cancer Agencies. He holds a B. Comm. degree from Concordia University and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. He is also a Sloan Fellow of the Doctoral Program at Harvard Business School. |
