TORONTO, Ontario, (January 27, 2010) -- Pelangio Exploration Inc. (PX:TSX-V) ("Pelangio" or the "Company") is saddened to report the death of Mr. Chris Pegg, P.Geo., Vice President Exploration (Africa). Mr. Pegg passed away in his sleep today in Ghana from causes that have yet to be determined.

"Chris was an integral member of our team in Ghana and we will miss him dearly. Those who knew him recognized his love of fieldwork and his incredible commitment.
